All below the D's season averages. I can't believe that people are criticizing the Defense.

People are criticizing the offensive line too, even though we ran for 260 yards and held the ball for over 38 minutes.

Tennessee was playing at home and were desperate. They are a proud SEC team that we just throttled in their place.

The criticism today that I saw in my brief forays over here really is ridiculous.

We won by 31 points. Lighten up, guys!

The only issue was the DT blowing up running plays early. The O-Line corrected that. I thought it was conservative, but effective. 38-7. Move on to Auburn.

I kind of think that was the game plan. We did what we had to do. The game wasn't close. Everything is pointing to November 5th and what we see right now really doesn't matter.

It's all prologue.

When they play Ok and still dominate the score board, the coaches need to be hard on them.

They are getting complacent...

TM7 got owned a couple of times...needs to stop tweeting.

They ran on us pretty good, that is a concern

This is the Rant. If we didn't hold them to 0 yds of offense and scored on every single play, it wasn't a good game.

I agree though. People need to lighten the frick up. We won't play perfect. We just won by 31.

You have to admit that the D-line looked like there where asleep in the 1st half. They woke up durning halftime.

The inside run defense looks suspect although we looked vanilla out there.

The problem is Tenn had no running game whatsoever and was minus rushing yards for a couple of games and today at times they ran the ball well. Tenn gained 111 yards rushing today which I believe is a season high for them.

Here and there. But, they gave up 239 yards. Not bad.

I don't think that TM7 was tweeting when he got owned. If so, I agree - he should stop.

Just kidding - I think he should stop all that crap too, but not because he got owned a couple of times, but because it isn't the way the game should be played.

Our interior line and LBs are a bit of a concern. That will be a problem against Bama. But, we gave up 111 yards, I think. It is hard to shut it down all game.

I get your points - I just think that we played a strong game overall and that we have a lot to feel good about. Move on to the next opponent.

7-0.

I agree- the team looked lethargic in the first half and both lines were getting manhandled for the first qtr and a half. Nice to know we dont show up for the first half and still dominate an SEC team.

We struggled to defend the run and also struggled to establish it. There's definitely room for celebration, but there's also room for concern.

Why can't we hold them to negative yards? Slackers.

People are judging us against Bama. Even though they are two completely different teams.

I would point to the second half for the adjustments and improvements. Yes, LSU was flat early on, but they slowly began to dominate, especially in the second half.

I understand - we were giving up something in the 60's, I think. But, that is what Tennessee was trying to do. They had one drive. 1/3 of their yards came on one drive. Other than that, they were ineffective, for the most part. We had this game won from the 2nd quarter on and it is hard to keep focus.

I will give it to Tennessee. They came out in the first quarter giving us their best shot. They wanted to win and they played like it. If we thought they were going to roll over, we were wrong. These kids didn't go to Tennessee to roll over - they went there to win championships and we crushed them to the tune of 38-7.

Well I am worried about T-Bob and the Bama NTs (Williams and Chapman?). When does Lonergan come back?
