Hullabaloo, Caneck! Caneck!
Hullabaloo, Caneck! Caneck!
Good-bye to Texas University
So long to the Orange and the White
Good luck to the dear old Texas Aggies
They are the boys that show the real old fight
"With The eyes of Texas now upon me..."
That was the song they sang so well -
Sounded like hell
I am the twelfth man University
We're going to beat you all to--
Chig-gar-roo-gar-rem
Chig-gar-roo-gar-rem
Rough Tough! Real Stuff! Texas A & M!

Ok - it is their fight song - than can keep it like it is. Let sing about beating the Longhorns - a team it looks like they will not play for the next 110 years.

The 2nd half of your lyrics are completely fricked up. Your google skills have failed you.

Ags can handle our own fight song.

The War Hymn was written during WWI. It has been A&M's fight song since 1920. I love the War Hymn.

Thanks though.

Edit: I just realized that I f'ed that up, don't know why I thought that.

It was written by Wilson while he was serving in WWI though.

I don't know why we don't sing the first verse instead. Mind blowing.

All hail to dear old Texas A&M
Rally around Maroon and White
Good luck to the dear old Texas Aggies
They are the boys who show the real old fight
That good old Aggie spirit thrills us
And makes us yell and yell and yell
So let’s fight for dear old Texas A&M
We’re goin’ to beat you all to
Chig-gar-roo-gar-rem

Palooza,

It's well documented why we don't sing the first verse. The "first verse" was not written till 8 years after the Aggie War Hymn was written. Wilson was forced to write the "first verse" because of some students who didn't like the War Hymn as is, but the majority of Aggies hated it, and never sang the stupid thing. And no one sings it now, because it's lame.

Wilson hated writing it, Aggies hated singing it, no reason to start now.

My google skills are ok - it's my song writing skills that are fricked-up. I didn't realize the history behind the Aggie War Hymn though. Adopted by A&M in 1920 and written during the Battle of the Bulge in WWI. Was that before or after the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Dear God, I didn't realize we stopped teaching history. It used to be in the animal industries building. And I would hope there are some Aggies out there that started getting hypnowheels in their eyes when "Battle of the Bulge", "WWI", and "1920" all appeared in the same sentence.
