I don't disagree with you, but to win 74 out of 75 games at home is impressive, regardless of the competition.
It is impressive, but lets say LSU had their schedule. They would do just as well, if not better. All I'm saying is Boise should schedule a few more big boys besides UGA. They'll get a lot more respect that way.

That's really crazy that we will be 9.5 point dogs to bama. I can't wrap my head around that.

Boise State has one of the best home field advantages in all of college football in that every opponent they host is far inferior.
How many in a row would LSU win if our home slate was Nevada, Fresno, New Mexico, La. Tech and San Jose State?

Hard to believe that Home field advantage could move the line 10 points against Boise. The reason they won so many straight is because they play no one at home. I can't imagine a situation where an undefeated LSU is given points in an Lsu/Boise matchup even if they played at their stupid field with smurf piss grass.
You have to remember it is being adjusted twice. The line would be cut when it goes from an LSU home game to a neutral field, and then continues the other way when it becomes the other team's home game.

The answer is 75, right?

With those powerhouses like Louisiana Tech and New Mexico rolling into Boise ever other year, this is certainly surprising.
Beat Oregon in 2009 by a score of 19-8
Beat # 21 Fresno State in 2008 by a score of 61-10
Beat Southern Miss 38-16 in 2007 (and then beat them the next year at USM)

People would probably be surprised to find out the other small conference team with one of the biggest HFAs in the game.

On a neutral field, Alabama would be favored over LSU by 5.
On a neutral field, Alabama would be favored over Oklahoma by 3.
On a neutral field, Alabama would be favored over Boise State by 8.

They play the teams they are scheduled to play and beat them handily.
Do you want to look at their bowl record as well in the last 5 to 10 years?

Just looked at Sheridan which is usually pretty good for figuring open lines.
At neural site, it would indicate:
LSU -.65 OK
Bama -3.75 LSU
LSU -3.53 Boise
LSU -4.28 WISC
LSU -7.87 OKSt
Give the home team 3.08 and your #s are just about spot on.

mid season. I want to see them play a big boy when they don't have the off season or a month+ to get psyched up for it.

LSU - 10 vs. Oklahoma State
No way the line is that high against a top 5 team
.

Boise State would be favored by 3
I don't care where the game is, they wouldn't be favored over us. And I don't hate on Boise...in a big game atmosphere, with Kellen Moore, they could hang with anyone. I think we beat them, but I don't see the spread that high.
7 point dogs to Oklahoma's too big too. I think we'd be favored over Wisconsin at Camp Randall. Not by a lot, but I say we'd be favored.
ETA: or I could be completely full of shite if the post before mine is correct.

If LSU is a 9.5 point underdog against Bama, I'm cashing my IRA and betting on the Tigers. The line will not be that big of a spread.
Boise: 74-1 at home. As stated by many others, because they play no one at home! Their stadium is 30,000. Of the traditional college powerhouses, that wouldn't hold half the fans of willing to travel anywhere to see their team play. Hence Boise will never get a good school on the smurf turf.

I can almost guarantee you that I am right in my "predictions of the lines."

If I am correct in assuming that LSU will be more than a TD underdog, the betting public (which usually doesn't win over the long haul) may be all over LSU.
If that happens, Vegas and the offshore casinos, generally don't like to give money away. So be careful if you're going to wager on LSU.

You named 3 impressive home victories and to name 3 you had to say southern miss. That's all I'm saying.

I could have referenced Fresno State or Hawaii (back when they were good) again as well.
Would you like to look at their bowl record the last few years? Would that change your mind?

What about ranked opponents is the last half of the year not including bowls. I have no clue on this stat, just wondering
