You can compare who is better at each position but really that is errivalent. It how does each compare to what they are going up against. IMO this is how we compare. Add these totals of each category.

A.) LSU QB(s)/WR's vs. Bama's Secondary:
-Based on the performance of JL, the better play calling from the LSU O.C. this year, the addition of JJ as a running threat, and not to mention LSU talented receiving core...

+ 1 LSU

B.) Alabama QB(s)/WR's vs. LSU's Secondary:
-Talented WR core, but also a young QB, who is doing very well actually. But how could you bet against LSU secondary the way they've played against Oregon, WVU, and Florida.

+1 LSU

C.) LSU's OL vs Bama's DL:
-LSU has veterans at OL and will get the job done. Bama has A LOT of talent on DL, but considering LSU stays healthy...

+1 LSU

D.) Bama's OL vs LSU's DL:
-This is where Bama's strength is at, but LSU has so much depth that not even NFL teams have at DL. But LSU is also young. Due to this game being 4 quaters of pounding it out, you got to go with the fresh legs of LSU

+1 LSU

E.) LSU's run stop defense vs. Bama's run game:
-Although LSU's DL is deep, the LB core is not. Shepard being gone is the weak point of this team. Hopefully the DL can pick up the slack.

+1 Bama

F.) Bama's run stop defense vs. LSU's run game:
-Bama probably has the most talented LB group in the country, but have been a little banged up. LSU has a lot of vet's on the OL and A LOT of talented brusing backs. I think both team's strengths of this will be shown throughout the game...

+0--> IMHO this may be where the game will be won at.

G.) Home Field Advantage:

+1 Bama

Total:

+2 LSU

I don't want to think about Bama. I just know this much - there is no way this team is going to lose to them. Everything we are doing is building up to that game.

Remember: BOTH teams have bye weeks to prepare! This LSU coaching staff and players have done very well lately in games where they have had an extra week to prepare. Any advantage that Ala. may have from a coaching standpoint (which I fail to see) is negated by the bye week for both teams. +1 LSU.

You on the team?

Otherwise, "we" dont have to do any such thing. We can look ahead all we want as long as the team takes it "one-at-a-time"
Tigerbait98 put this totally in perspectrive for me earlier today. We can overlook all of our upcoming opponents because none of them have a chance against us. All we have to do is focus on Bama!! He has to be correct because he has 3045 posts as opposed to my mere 22 and we all know nobody on here ever started out with just one post and a persons knowledge of football is directly proportional with the number of posts you have regardless of your age, experience, etc.

We stand no chance to beat Tenn or Auburn so let's not think about Alabama yet.

wait...wait...what?
