re: BTW, thank you Student Section

When I was a student:

- Tiger Rag got banned because of the words "ha ha ha ha ha - a-hole, a-hole" and it pissed us off.
- The first down cheer was, and I believe is still the official student version, "kick their arse!"
- Whenever we played FSU, the student section added the words "ho-mo-sexual" to the War Chant.
- Drinking and cursing were done in a way that can only be described as excessive
- I loved my time at LSU football games as a student
- We didn't give a shite what anybody else thought

HOWEVER, now that I'm a bit older, I understand that LSU is trying to protect its image on national/regional TV. Broadcast TV is PG rated, not R. The university has some sort of standard/image to uphold.

"Suck that tiger dick, bitch" being clearly heard on TV is not going to cut it. "Neck" is one of those things, like Chinese Bandits, that looks awesome on TV, but oh well...
