Jefferson Coming On Strong

It appears that some folks are now in belief that Jefferson will take over the starting QB position.
They claim he brings more athleticism. Brings the run option. Gives the offense more flexibility.
All Jarrett Lee has done is win 5 games and thrown more touchdowns than JJ did all year?
Is it manditory that a quarterback be a runner to win? Were Matt Flynn and Mauck running quarterbacks?

Some folks can believe what they want.
Miles has his starter.

Before the "incident" Jefferson was the starter for a reason folks.

He was in fact, the "starter".
But from all accounts, it was going to be very similar to last season, and Lee was going to play, hence the first team snaps he was still receiving.
There was not much seperation in the competition.

Who gives a shite. If you listened to what Miles said in his press conference yesterday, he is the decision maker and he isn't influenced by anything that comes from outside.
If Jefferson is made the starter it is because Miles made the decision. If Lee remains the starter it is because Miles made the decision. It won't be because of anything that any rantard said or any booing that comes down to the field from the stadium.

Brings the run option.

Gives the offense more flexibility.
But none of that alone warrants the starting position.

So you are telling me Lee would not have played?

So was Bledsoe before Brady.
A passing QB can't be givin 2 series and out and 1 series and out. They need to settle in, see what the "D" is doing. They get an in game feel for how defenders react to certain plays. You can't get that when you're on the sidelines. I said all least year with the way Lee played in limited time, if he was ever given the ball and said "this is your offense lets see what you can do" I believe he would have been very steady, just like he has this year.

Idk, beating a guy out 3 straight years isn't just by chance. And lee received a few snaps per practice, it's not like it was split. Also, jj accounted for 14 td's last year, not 7 like ppl have mentioned.

Can not dispute; however, haven't we witnessed success at the position on the field we didn't see last year? Hasn't Lee thrown the ball better than JJ did all of last year? Why would you disturb an offense that is working and successful? Why would one not play Lee. Where is the problem with Lee's play? What has he done to warrant being replaced?

JJ is not a running QB. He just has the ability to scramble

Keep up the good work.
