Why do I always see LSU fans saying Bama is better?

I have no idea. And, it's pretty amusing considering how all we ever talk about as a fanbase is how much respect mainstream media and talking heads fail to give us. And, now we're at a point where most, if not all analysts aren't willing to say which team is better or who they think will win the match-up head to head.

'Bama is unstoppable and the entirety of CFB should just give up and accept playing for second best.

LSU fans have a HUGE--and embarrassing--inferiority complex.

This. I think they're a better team but I have no doubt we can beat them.

Because we watch the games and many of us have the opinion that Alabama would beat us, particularly since the game is in Tuscaloosa.

Now, that's not to say we won't win on November 5th. Lots of things can happen, including injuries unfortunately.

What I would like to see is the offense continue to come together under Lee, with the added weapon of JJ. I like that we have a nice gauntlet of Florida, Tennessee and Auburn in this regard. There will be no ability to "play it vanilla." While Northwestern State and Kentucky were glorified scrimmages, they weren't helpful for the offense's gelling. The progression from Oregon to MSU to WVU was really something. The offense regressed Staurday but I'm hoping it has more to do with the game plan and lack of a quality opponent.

If our offense continues to improve, particularly in the passing game, we certainly can beat the Tide in a month.

We have the better QB, which is important because the running games will be neutralized with those two defenses.

LSU fans love to worry.

But what makes you say that though? That's the point the OP is trying to make. Because they destroyed an overrated Florida?

Why do you think this?

This argument can only be settled on the field. Bama is the only game I'm concerned about, but I'm nowhere near ready to say we're going to lose it. I'm just uneasy about it. We're the only ones left that can beat Bama, we just need to go out and execute and play our game. Time will tell.

And i'll go ahead and say LSU is the better team. They've gotten through adversity bama hasn't had to deal with, and they've played a variety of quality opponents and have smothered them. LSU's resume looks better, they came out the gates swinging vs UO and haven't let up, they've had the hard road.

Why do you care? Are you suggesting that LSU fans should always think LSU is the better teams? Hot n' cold makes no sense.

It isn't a big deal, I'm just wondering what changed some of their minds.
