Against Kentucky I saw a QB who seemed to be in too much of a hurry on almost every pass. Was he looking over his shoulder because of Jefferson's return? Was he hyped because of the first SEC game in Tiger Stadium?

You need to relax.

naw, best thing is not to make to much over it. Luckily no one is going haywire like they would last season if the QB would have that type a game. Hopefully everyone is over it.

Uhhhh.... yea! There were a lot of things going on Sat. on the field and in the locker room w the JJ duet reinstatement, etc. It's just human nature for him and those around him to react as they did. He will do fine against Fla. You will see a much more focused group of Tigers on Sat.

I felt like he was pressing. Somebody will have a hissy fit, but I think JJ on the sideline throws him off his game. He needs to know 100% it is his team.

I kept asking him through my TV why he didn't wait just a second more to plant his feet or for a route to develop. I'm not sure he trusts his protection.

He didn't look very relaxed to me either.

And what was with the roll outs? Lee doesn't roll out and throw on the run well. Throws much better in the pocket. Made me wonder why we were all of a sudden running that shite. Almost like we were preparing for something. Hummmmmmmm.........

I didn't understand that, either. Then you have to ask yourself... did this actually WORK in practice?

I guess I can post in this thread without getting another PM.
Jlee on the rollout is a disaster waiting to happen.
I hate that play.. ran it 3 times saturday.
3-5 step drop or playaction.
Thats what Lee does well.

Lee did fine on the roll outs.

He moves very well on those.

He only gets in trouble when he tries that "jump back" move on those plays. It's like the back foot throw, on crack.

He threw at least 15 highly catchable balls on Saturday. He can't catch it for them, too.

If ESPN is correct, Lee probably already knows he doesn't have the support of most of his teammates.

Wouldn't that bother you?

Its no secret that we have struggled at the qb position. Limit mistakes and we win. Thats been the gameplan after the 08 debacle.

Any one who thought any of these guys were going to put up good stats was just kidding themselves.

I dunno.... of his two longest passes Randle made the first with a jump ball and then the refs gave OBJ the second.

I sincerely believe, though, that all that JJ crap had to be playing a few mind tricks on him and that he's gonna tear Florida a new one.
