But Richardson might be the best in America.

I think Lattimore is just a little bit better. However, I think those are the top #2 RBs in the US and they are both in the SEC.

I think a healthy Ware is right there in the top echelon of the conference with TR and Lattimore, as well as being a top 10-15 RB in the US.

Hope we are practicing/preparing tackling for Trent Richardson now. Takes 3 defenders to bring him down.

It takes one person to tackle him. Just like any other RB out there. It takes an entire team to try to decleat him, though.

Bama held Florida to 15 yards rushing, when they averaged 200+. Florida's horses up front are no slouches.

i think we're gonna need some arm to win. Lee needs to have a good game, and our WRs better hold the F'ing ball.

I would disagree on how you stack our team against Alabama.

QB: LSU
RB: Alabama
WR: LSU
TE: Alabama
OL: Alabama

DL: LSU
LB: Alabama
CB: LSU
S: Alabama

KR/PR: Alabama
K/P: LSU

From what I've seen, you have to make Alabama's offense beat you. Both Florida and Arkansas gave up huge points to Alabama's defense and special teams. You can't win if you do that.

You have to play mistake free on offense and special teams and clog the LOS against their offense. You have to make McCarron beat you.

Dude, Richardson had 60 yards on 10 carries and a TD in the first quarter.

anyone see 0-0 at halftime?

It might be reasonable to say, when you look back at this game in 5-10 years, there has never been more defensive talent on the field at any one time than this game.

but i guess they arent all on the field together. In one game. there.

Bama has a 5 star oline with a terror and nightmare at running back. I don't know how he can wipe his arse, so much muscle, so much speed.

Nah, I think we have the better D-line.

Alabama's huge advantage on defense is at Linebacker. Their linebackers are absolutely nasty. That's a great thing to have in a game that is going be 70% power running.

Yes it does, and I haven't seen anyone run like that on Florida all year so far.

i think you have to have some creativity in playcalling in this one.

Anything that gets their LBers to hesitate on that first step or two.... which is why some think JJ gives our running game an advantage in this game (what? logic on the rant?)

Some misdirection might be helpful.

I just hope we arent terribly predictable. I dont know if our horses up front can beat theirs if they know its coming.

We may have more depth. LSU has more speed and Bama has more power on D-line. At best I will call it a wash. BUT They do not have THAT ONE player on D that LSU has like #7

We have to hope Trent tires before our dline. He won't slow down til the fourth if that.

Simply put, alabama is just a better overall team. I don't know why they are not number 1. We will need some breaks.

I hope les has someone else returning punts by then. He is our biggest playmaker. I am worried that they get him with a cheap shot and concede the 15 yards.

what would you think about coming out with 3 and 4 wide looks?

Spread them out and get one of those LBers off the field, and get a CB on.

I think two tightend sets will be trouble for running unless we can play action from it.

Don't read too much into it. Florida hadn't played anyone with any semblance of a rushing attack before Alabama:

FAU #119 in rushing offense
UAB #107 in rushing offense
Tennessee #98 in rushing offense
Kentucky #96 in rushing offense

And for comparison's sake, Kentucky had 134 yards (3.72 per carry) against them. We held Kentucky to 89 yards (2.28 per carry).

Our full backs are better.

Some people refuse to believe it, but we will need JJ in that game. I would bet my TD membership.
