re: Who do we root for to most benefit LSU: AL or FL

It is simple deductive reason. The sun will rise in the East therefore if the sun rises in the East you pull against bama. It is only when the sun rises in the west that you MIGHT be allowed to pull for bama.

Whether or not Bama is undefeated when we play them means nothing. They will still be a top 10 team. Pulling for a team you compete with to get to Atlanta is the dumbest thing you can do as an LSU fan. Consider yourself a retard if you don't pull for Florida. And if Florida wins, you can jerk off to the fact that they are undefeated when we play them next week!!

I wish I could predict the future like you too Confucius. Why don't you go ahead and tell us the score of the BCSNC game while you are at it.

Make for a bigger game next week if Fla won.
Also I dont think Fla is capable of beating bama and LSU back to back weeks.
So if I had to root for one of them it would be fla.

I think you have missed the goal of sports. Your team has to win. LSU controls their own destiny if they beat Bama and Florida it doesn't matter what those two teams do after that. I'm not predicting anything. The people wanting others teams to lose obviously have no faith in the Tigers going undefeated. I understand the strategy I've seen it work in LSU's favor many times but I don't feel like at this point in the season that this is something that we have to worry about nor do I believe you pulling for one team or the other is going to have any effect on the outcome of the game but do whatever makes you happy.

Last year, as I was waiting in line for the ladies room, someone said they were so nervouse and said "what do you think?". My reply was that anything could happen and that in my heart I thought that we could beat Bama ... and that Nick would slip in some way and we would win.

That said, at the very end of the game -- last Bama possession like 2 or 3 last minutes -- I was SO worried as we've lost our share in last minute plays/drives.

I'm all for Florida tomorrow ... but it doesn't matter because what will be will be!

You always pull for the East team if East vs. West. That said, a loss to Florida doesn't help us tremendously. If LSU loses to Alabama, Bama would hold the tie-breaker.

It really doesn't matter who wins. What does matter is that, win or lose, Florida gets the crap beaten out of them physically. I would really like to see an emotionally charged game where both teams wear each other down, go to 7 OTs, and Florida wins. Bama wouldn't drop out of the top 10, Florida would jump to about 8, and at the end of the year, LSU could say that they beat 3 top 10 teams, 4 if South Carolina goes undefeated and plays LSU in the SECCG, possibly 5 if WVU goes undefeated the rest of the way.
