Can't help you there, bud.I can get sacks in Monroe at Captain Avery's or shucked ones there or another joint, but the shucked ones have been washed...bit of a trade off in flavor vs no shucking. I'm a perv...I like to shuck them.

Thanks guys. I've got friends down south that I could use for planned events and such. Just thought there might be an option for spur of the moment type stuff, even if there is some trade-off of flavor.

I had my first experience with grilled oysters at the Cowboys/Saints game two years ago...It's sad that it took that long. Anyway we had a guy shuck and grill around six sacks...It was impressive watching him work, and I couldn't get enough of them.
