How is WVU gonna stop Ware/Ford with a d-line that is smaller than Oregon's? Their 3-man front averages less than Bama's linebackers.

Wow, they are in for a long night.

Brad Wing is a big boy. Not like Tulsa's 6'7" punter tho.
I would understand programs that emphasize speedy linemen having 4-man fronts around that size but this is a 3-man front where you would expect a nose tackle to be massive. D-line looks service academy size.

Nose Tackle
They must run a 3-4. I haven't really looked.

It's good for them that their o-line is around typical BCS size. What is very bad for them is not only is their d-line small, a lot of analysts have been saying they don't have that much depth behind the starters.

Yeah, I'm just amazed that their NT is so light. He's supposed to clog up the middle and eat blocks.
I'm thinking pancake city and run all day.

3-3-5 which is even better for our run game. They only have a 6 men in the box and a "rover" safety.

They run a 335. it's a defense built more for a spread offense than one that will like up with a tight end and a fullback.
That 5th DB is a linebacker/corner/safety hybrid if you've built your team right, but those guys are kind of hard to find

T-bob has grown to 305 and it won't be surprising if 6'7" 330 pound Williford starts ahead of Blackwell.

If you want a make a size comparison to LSU, it would look like this:
DE - Mingo
NT - Logan
DT - Adams
OLB - Francois
MLB - Baker
OLB - Hatcher
rover - Reid
Not saying their defense has the speed but that is the size of the players attempting to stop LSU's run game.
