Do you think Les will pull the starters and puts the game on cruise control and try's do get some younger guys experience... Or do you think he'll keep his foot on the pedal and embarrass West Virginia and make a statement on national tv..

Thoughts?

I agree. We won't put this away till the fourth. It's what we do. Yet every week our fans expect a beat down.

It won't get to that point.

WVU is coming to play.

It probably won't get ugly. Miles is always conservative in the first half.

I don't think this game gets that out of hand where you put second stringers in. That would be ridiculous. Honestly, even if they were up by 2 TD's and you're TM7 or MC17, I'd want the chance to get some more picks with all of the times they are going to throw it to try and catch up.

We should just start the game with the 2nd string, IMO.

I didn't say I was expecting a beat down. I was just bringing up a hypothetical situation.

Just answer the question or don't comment.
Your 'policing' of the thread is unwanted.

we won't put it to them til the 2nd half like Oregon and MSU -- we'll probably have a slight lead at the half and then will wear that arse out and run run run and score score score

It won't get ugly and we shouldn't take them lightly, not that we are, but...if it did Les has more class than to try and embarrass WV. Beside he will pull his starters because he won't take a chance on them getting hurt for no reason.

How crazy would that be if the 2nd string started the 1st half and the 1st string came in all fresh for second half. Never happen, just funny to think.

I hope Les learned from 2007 that going into cruise control even with your starters in the game is risky. He did it against both Kentucky and Arkansas when LSU had "comfortable" leads in the second half. In both games it allowed the opponents to gain confidence and seize the momentum.

However your "policing" of the responders is warranted?
