According to a Tulsa World report, the Big 12 presidents are to hold a teleconference on Thursday to work out a way to bring some long-term stability to the Big 12 conference. One of the ways the Big 12 plans on doing that is by asking commissioner Dan Beebe to resign.

It had been reported that Oklahoma would only remain in the Big 12 if Dan Beebe was replaced, and it seems that the Sooners are not the only school that shares this vision of change within the conference.

Laughing at Missouri, Kansas, KSU, TT, Iowa State, OSU, TAMU and Baylor. Only OU and Texas are strong enough to pull strings and hold the conference together. Wow. That's some weak shite there. Big 12 will not last long if only 2 teams hold all the power.

This had to happen sooner or later, no pun intended.

Beebe's handling of the conference over the past two years has been an utter disaster.

No reason to laugh at A&M, we left. It just took us a year longer than NU and CU.

No reason to laugh at Baylor or Iowa State either. They are parasites at the AQ conference television revenue table.

OU's plan - kick out Dan Beebe - no leadership - dissolve conference - no exit fee.

1.) They need Beebe to resign 2.)Equal Revenue sharing and 3.)LHN restrictions and possible revenue sharing of that.

All teams share their bowl pay-outs, I think individual networks should be along the same lines.

Iowa state ain't bad. Their a big state school atleast. Rhoads is a beast too, really liking the program he's building.

Yeah, if their plan was to dissolve the conference due to a lack of leadership, you'd think they would WANT to keep Beebe in place.

That scares the daylights out of me. If the Dirt Burglars leave then where are they going to go? PAC? B1G? ACC? No way. They only have two conference choices, the BIG XII or SEC and I don't want them. Especially if they bring along OSU as a package deal.

Bebee has been a UT puppet. He didn't see the Neb defection coming & as hard as it may be to accept, did not realize the level of discontent in the conference.

Some say he is falling on the sword to save the conference, but the reality is his lack of leadership the past two is the root of the issues.

Old soldiers never die, they just fade away. Adios Bebee, thanks for your service.
