Is WVU as bad as I've been told?

In the sense of the fan base. Going up to Morgantown this weekend and have been told to expect nothing but a bunch of assholes and zero hospitality. The WVU fans I talked to last year seemed friendly and down for a good time, but maybe it's because they were in Baton Rouge. Just wondering what I'm walking in to.

We really arent that bad.. Can get kind of vulgar (college students that is) but nothing like it used to be. Its more in jest (like chanting the name of the woman rick patino had an affair with and the the traditional eat sh*t pitt)

I know a couple of WVU guys who are great guys. They get just as pissed as us when their team plays poorly.

I think the problem is that yall have to walk by the student sections to get to your seats. I know it may not be ALL of the problem, but it plays a part. I hate that yall will have to put up with that shite because we were treated well in BR. So i apologize in advance of the game. All in all, most of the problems will occur in the Blue lot in front of the stadium, and walking past the student section. Hope yall enjoy Morgantown.

You guys will be fine. Our reputation just comes from people up north being so soft. They just dont understand how people can have so much passion for their football team. With LSU fans that wont be a problem. Personally I know most attending the game are excited to hang with the LSU fans. They way we were treated last year by y'all is still legendary. We hope we can atleast return the favor to the best of our ability.

There are always stupid people, but I know a lot of WVU fans are looking forward hosting LSU fans. My family and I will be there with a smile and a hand-shake for any LSU fan that walks by. Although, if you get beat in cornhole you have to turkey-chug(shotgun) a beer.
