Well officially they have not.

The school will apply first and then be granted an invitation.

Sincerely,

Legal Posturing

We saw this same exact charade with Texas A&M. Sunday vote, SEC votes not to expand and says happy at 12. Texas A&M goes through the hoops and applies. What do you know? SEC gives conditional approval.

Looks like SEC is trying to stay out of legal ramblings to me. I believe an invitation was made if BigXII collapse.

Sporting News confirming with their sources what Kansas City Newspaper was saying:

Ken will not sue schools. Baylor would never sue A&M. They threatened to sue Slive personally and the SEC.

Doctor

baylor has so much shite in its pockets, it's amazing how stupid it would be to sue

the sec has also expressed its intentions to counter sue.

you and i know better than most here that baylor is the dirtiest program in the big 12. <- FACT

Slive needs to man up and tell Baylor to go ahead and sue but to expect a counter suit from the SEC. Slive needs to have the best interest of the SEC in mind and having Baylor hold the SEC hostage while other conferences pick up the best of the remaining schools is not in the best interest of the SEC. Slive has done nothing but disappoint me while being the SEC commish. If he drops the ball here, he needs to be replaced with someone who can actually make a decision and not worry about stepping on someone's toes if it is in the beat interest of the SEC.

All an "informal" SEC offer to Mizzou means is that Deaton is on the phone with Jim Delany saying the B1G better offer before it's too late.

I'm nowhere near as pissed at Baylor as I am at aggy for doing this during football season. Why didn't aggy do this last February. This subject is hurting football season.

this is not hurting football season more than all of the ncaa violations stuff coming out every five minutes.

this just makes the season more complex and gives you more to have to keep up with.

What I meant to imply was all the realignment talk is taking away from talk about games. WVU and LSU should be burning up the airways but it's all about realignment.

I just wished this move could have been announced and finalized last winter so we could concentrate on X's and O's and arrests :)
