I saw Clay Travis tweet he thought it was the Mizzou intentionally leaking to tempt other conferences, namely, big10. I'm inclined to agree.

Do most MU fans want to go to the SEC? My brother graduated there last year and it didn't seem the fan base wanted any part of the SEC for a variety of reasons, that was in May 2010 though and shite had yet to get real.

Absolutely we want the SEC. It's been bugging me reading this board (and West Virginia's) and seeing people say we'd rather be in the B1G.
We don't give a damn about them anymore. Our Admins may feel different though. Read the Mizzou boards and see how many people want the SEC. We're hoping and praying to be in with you guys.
Hope it happens still, but this is eerily similar to the Big 10 fiasco last year. I have my cup ready and I'm braced.

Exactly right, and exactly why most people in the national media are opposed to it. At least with WWE you know it's insane but fake and made for entertainment. These are grown adults stabbing each other in the back like a game of Clue. But, alas, money talks....

Personally I want Mizzou and think it would be a good fit. It makes sense, expands geographic footprint, and adds another AAU school.
The President/Chancellor should be careful not not call people out like he did last year degrading OSU, Texas Tech, etc and start praising the Big 10. That was a disaster.
He needs to keep his mouth shut.

That was our Governor Jay Nixon. He's commented on expansion this year, but he never said anything of substance. He's learned his lesson I hope.
