SHHHHH don't tell him that he is a WR. He will throw a hissy fit. He wants to play RB. Miles had to tell him that he will get a chance to play RB to get him to decommit from A&M.
Bourque might be able to get on the field faster at RB than WR anyway. As a redshirt sophomore, he would only have Hilliard, Magee, and Gore in front of him, while at WR he would be competing with Beckham, Fobbs, Landry, Williams, and Turner.

But he is 6'3" 200, and already has good receiving skills. They wanted him at WR at first, and thats where he will see the field at LSU, IMO

This. He's an amazing RB, but he runs too upright. He's going to get himself hurt unless he learns to run with lower pad level, IMO.

IMO, he will be used as a RB/WR hybrid. A kind of change of pace back that will create mismatchs. A bigger, slower Reggie Bush.

^^ i think he'll be used as a hybrid...IMO also i think he's not a physical enough runner and runs way too upright...his speed is what impresses me

i was looking forward to the patterson game bc the jacks got some dude that'll knock your head off, but the coach from crowley called and canceled the game bc its was raining and the roads were hazordous ..from what i hear he doesn't love contact <--not good for a "future wanting to be SEC RB"

Rewatched his video and noticed a couple of things that concerned me. He always runs with the ball in his left even when running to the right. And the arm with the ball is well away from his body and he looks like a fumble waiting to happen.

Both of those things are fixable though.

He fumbled once tonight....Made a few nice catches. He definitely has good hands. He looks pretty good running when he gets started. He uses a spin move and has some good lateral movement as well. He outran everyone on about an 80 yarder. I don't know speed by seeing it, but I would guess a 4.5 40 guy. I was pretty dissapointed in Crowley as a team. Very undisciplined and out of shape....Lots of penalties (Personal fouls) and cramping by the Early third quarter. They still owned Peabody.

Just wanted to update ya'll......Teurlings hammered Crowley Friday night....Like I said before the team has very little discipline. On defense they overran plays and didn't play assignment football well. One kid had 2 personal foul penalties in a row moving the offense back 30 yards.

I see why LSU is talking WR for Bourque. He caught a pass on the dead run for a touchdown. He beat the coverage and hauled in a nice catch. He also ran the ball well last night. Don't know what the stats were, but he scored both TD's for Crowley. Here's to a future LSU recruit.

Almost forgot to mention Landor. Seems like a good pick up for UL. I am excited to see him play for the cajuns. Guy has some snap to his passes and could have run for a couple of hundred yards on that Crowley defense. Of course, thats not saying much.

Now that Gore is supposedly considering transfering, that would only leave Hilliard and Magee in front of him as a RS sophomore. He'll likely get a lot of playing time at RB earlier than at WR, where Beckham and Landry would still likely be starters. If I were him, I'd insist on staying at RB, if I wanted to get early playing time.
