Voters have already shown that to be false. We looked stellar last week and were dropped, while Bama beat a ranked team on the road and moved up.
Not that it matters, but I'd think we move up.

We really don't need the #1 tag right now. If we go 9-0, then we deserve it.
If FSU beats Oklahoma, FSU could jump to 2 and bama will move to 1. I see LSU staying at 3.

LSU is #3 right now and plays the #2 game in a few weeks. Win that game and there's nothing to worry about.
And I don't think I'd worry about FSU winning anything this week. I've never had less faith in a top 5 team...

No, if FSU wins convincingly, they will vault everybody to #1, at least in the AP.

Probably, we had alot more 1st place votes than Bama. Its the lower votes that are hurting LSU, right now. As long as we keep hanging around, those will climb.

All right, I am NOT hating on Les or the Tigers. I have been very pleased with the season this far and won't be pissed if we end up losing a few.
But did I miss something? I know the D looked great, but we only scored one TD. Again, I'm not unhappy with the game, but why is everyone acting like it was a performance likely to get a bunch of people on the bandwagon?

The D looked more than great against an SEC team fresh off putting up 500 yards on another SEC team.
With a D like LSU has, there's really no reason to take chances with a QB like Lee. Run it, take a shot or two deep per game, and let the D set you up with easy field position. It worked and they won a road SEC game against a ranked team.

If Oklahoma loses, I think we'll jump Bama for the #1 spot. They're playing a cupcake this week, which is why they passed us up last week.
