yes, I think Lee's stats were great, but I thought he was off at times. The weird handoffs stood out, and he still threw off his back foot too much.

I am grateful for the win, but I am not 100% sold on Lee...

what exactly is it goint to take for you (and others) to be 100% sold on Jarrett Lee?

If he plays as a game manager (make throws when we need him to, don't try to do too much, and don't turn it over), we make it to Atlanta (and farther) fairly easily IMO.

All we need from him is 150-200 yards, TD or two, and minimal TOs per game and we're set. Sort of like a less-talented, more cautious version of Flynn or Mauck.

I hate that Lee gives a hand signal to our backs on certain run plays that are a very easy tell to the defense that we are running the ball. Does anyone else see this?

He can shoot the ball out of his arse for all I care, as long as we win.

Kind of curious about this myself.

The kid was 21-27 last night with a INT where there was miscommunication or Randle ran the wrong route. That wasn't all on Lee.

I hope I don't jinx it, but of all people, Jarrett Lee was the last person that I would think of having the 2nd longest streak in pass attempts without an INT in LSU history.

Not that shite again! ESPN had a QB special the other day raving over how Andrew Luck can complete passes throwing off his back foot.
When LSU recievers can run "perfect routes" and
the Oline can make a "Prefect Bubble" to pass from for 5 seconds for Lee, we can beat up Lee for throwing off his back foot when in falls incomplete.

You obviously hate it when LSU wins and just want something to gripe about.

man im completely on the other side of this line of thinking
been a few years since i felt this comfortable with a lsu qb. not saying he is all world or anything but he is looking imo to be more than capable of taking this team to a bcs bowl this season

It's kinda like having a horse that wins the triple crown and complaining about how it looks while running. Lol. Some people just gotta bitch.

He does it every time. I'm starting to think this is just how he throws a football. Even with no pressure, he throws it and then bails out. Really weird. Perhaps this is why he has never beaten anyone out for the starting spot.
But as long as the ball continues to get where it needs to, I won't complain too much. I already have Lee lovers pissed off at me for not "giving him his due". lol

Chicken, news flash, Lee is 110% better than what we had last year, not just an opinion but a fact. Passing yards per game 100% better. Game management 100% better than last year, running backs better than last year, what else do you need to see? By the way not a JJ hater just see it as it is.
