How much longer and we're going to tip off our run plays by J. Lee giving a signal behind his back. You think maybe we can do it during pass plays just to mix it up and keep the "D" honest.

Outside of that great game by the Tigers. It appears they're taking the training wheels off of Lee. Great performance by our D.

He did it a few times on passes(less then 4), but it's really just him letting the rb know to switch sides. I think on those plays everyone in the world knows we're running anyways.

The only thing i can think of is that they may do just this. They just havent showed yet. I dont have problem when we can pound it down the opponents throat, but it may be a problem against better teams when the games are more in question

It's downright ludicrous. It got to where every time Lee signaled the run behind his back one of the MSU linebackers would visibly alert his teammates that a run was coming.

1. They know we are running most likely from those sets and down and distance
2. JLee sees the strong side of the D and tips the running back to which side that is. ( If you notice he points his thumb to the side they should run to. It works good... look at the rushing stats. He has been doing it all season. He uses different hands but turns it over depending which side is strong.

I'm just amazed that Lee, the OC, Les Miles, and the entire staff . . . not a single one of them . . . have ever had this thought cross their minds. Damn, you have to get up pretty damned early in the day to put something past a Rantard

That isn't new this season and he isn't doing it to say what side we're switching the run to.

State tried to pick it up but LSU gashed them one play in the red zone in the 4th.
