The wholesale price on your car is about $5K.

I will carry insurance thru December. If I cannot sell it, then will discontinue the insurance and keep it by my brothers. No risk of fire or theft by his house. Will start it just to keep the battery going and then decide once my lease is one year in if I want to turn that vehicle in and keep the Altima.

good idea. I may try that. Like I said, I have to base this on something. I don't want to screw someone over, but don't want to screw myself either.

I just recently sold 2 cars (a 10 yr old eclipse and 6 yr old beetle) on auto trader and craigslist respectively. I priced right around KBB value and sold each the day I posted them online with no haggling at all. Carmax was my backup plan in case I had trouble selling but didn't have to exercise the option.

I just listed my 2006 Ford Expedition on craigslist, autotrader and cars.com yesterday. Are there any other sites recommended to list it on? I priced it at $600 under the KBB suggested price, just hoping to get some bites on it.

I want to get it sold so I can start looking for a truck.

None others, outside of ebay, but i think they charge an arm and a leg.

This economy sucks. Dropped the price to $7500 and still nothing, so looks like just gonna keep it.
