Damn I'm late on that one

I told them it is OK for Oregon players to quickly flash the "O" sign to celebrate a good play. But it must not be prolonged and cannot be directed at an opponent. Doing it the way the Ducks do it is fine.
So they can flash the O as long as its not in an intimidating fashion

What exactly does this have to do with LSU anyway?

At first it was unsportsmanlike to taunt a team. Now you can't support your own team?
What's next...15 yards for cheering from the sidelines?

I reached this conclusion after talking with the Pac-12's coordinator of officiating, Tony Corrente, and the NCAA's national coordinator of officiating, Rogers Redding. Both told me that the Ducks' "O" is legal. Plus, if the Ducks flashing the "O" sign were deemed to be illegal, then the same would have to be said for the University of Texas and many other teams with similar school salutes.

That being said, if the salute is directed at an opponent in a taunting gesture, it would be deemed to be a foul.
So there you go, again: Pac-12 officials will have the discretion to determine the appropriate duration and intent of a player holding his hands in the shape of a letter of the alphabet, with no specific guidelines. What could possibly go wrong?
if they tried to get Oregon to not do the O, they would have to literally make every team in the country not do hand signals.
this is the shite refs are worried about?
and fricking rogers redding got PROMOTED??!?!
WTF!

i'd argue his "god or military" stance as well. that shite is retarded.
what if your god is the flying spaghetti monster and you are making an "O" in his name after a TD?

That wasn't an "O" it was a meatball... don't insult my religion. I don't praise a flying spaghetti-o monster... that would be ridiculous...

Only pirates can make the "O" symbol.

i they wanna learn how to stop the "o" they should ask sec teams

They have the O on their gloves. If they don't want them to throw it up, they shouldn't let Nike make gloves with it on the palm.
