89th is 20 spots higher than were we have been.
Not sure at what point in time you refer to, but LSU finished 86th in that category last year.
'11 passing O is 8 spots ahead of last years performance, but with 50% of games coming against FCS defense vs <10% in 2010 games.
Also finished 45th in scoring O under the same criteria.
A bit early for any comparisons but so far so good.

LSU 91, i couldnt agree more, LSU style of play as well as the schedule we play.... doesnt lend itself to national stat rankings, with that said

what we do in the W-L column is what matters, and i fully expect that to look very good this season!

The passing stats are what they are. and its not surprising or really representative of what Lee can or cannot do. Its obvious the game plan is run, run, run and they're afraid to pass. The passes they do call for Lee are 3rd down passes and every now and then a 1st down pass thats a safe screen to the sidelines.

How the hell do we only have 1 sack between the 2 games? I could've sworn we had 2 to 3 last night?

Nope. There were Tigers in the Demon backfield practically every play though and their QB never had time to set up. That's almost as good as a sack, but there's no stat for it.

Last night Mingo had at least 1 sack if not 2 and they didn't record it to him

I remember 2 last night. Botched snap in the first and Mingo in the second.

Where would the Tigers Scoring Defense be ranked against the statistical average of the opposing team's average score?

For LSU, our opposition has scored a total of 123 points in their combined four games for an average of 30.75 points per game. LSU has held those teams to 30 points for an average of 15 per game. That's an average differential of -15.75 per game. I'd be interested, later in the season, to see how this works out statistically for all our competition.

Averaged 20 yards per vs Oregon but NWST kicked short both times with returns from Mitch Joseph and D Peterson. A couple of years ago we had one of the lowest averages in the NCAA, but it was because no one kicked to Trindon, average starting position was around the 35.

Based on the individual stats, Tennessee looks like more of a trap game than Miss State
