So I just got home from Dallas yesterday...

We stayed a little long...
I can't lie to you guys...We took the tour of Jerryworld, and it was awesome.
Not only do they let you onto the field, but they also let you into Jerry's "Personal Viewing Suite", as well. Here's his view:
This is a really nice view from the SRO area behind the Oregon End Zone looking out towards the Texas' Rangers home stadium, The Ballpark in Arlington:
After the tour, we ended up hitting Pappadeaux's over near the Crowne Plaza where we stayed, and who walked in but Brent Musburger. I didn't bother him with a photo request, but I did coax a Geaux Tigers out of him at dinner!
Saturday, well...I have to admit, it was a memorable night in more ways than one. I've mentioned it already here, but our seats were in the highest section of the corner of the LSU End Zone. They were the last-highest-row of the section, literally. Here's our view of Pregame:
As those of you who remember my story, I happened to catch an LSU Athletic Department Tweet asking fans to "ReTweet your seat" locations, and shot one off at them just after the kickoff following Tyrann's forced fumble/scoop 'n score late in the 1st quarter.
Just before the end of the quarter, LSU Ticket Office workers came up to our section, and rewarded my overattentive social media habits with tickets to the Club Level on the LSU sideline, around the 25 yard line.
This is a picture of our new seats from later on during the game:
We were actually two rows in front of former LSU Hoops legend Rudy Macklin & his daughters, who I can assure you are blessed with a SERIOUS amount of LSU Tiger Team Spirit. They are the kinds of women you love to hear as an LSU Fan, LOL. Constantly talking trash to the UO Players on the field & encouraging the Tigers!
All in all, this was an absolutely great trip. We've been to a few Sugar Bowls, a National Title Game in 2003, and to Atlanta for last year's Chik-Fil-A game. Dallas was by far the best experience my Dad & I have had as Tiger Fans.
From the game itself to LSU hooking us up with great seats, it was a great little extended vacation!
Just thought I'd share some pics & some stories one last time. Can't wait for Saturday!

And to think I always get bitched out about having my phone in my hand. Nice upgrade for being on the ball!

BTW-All of those pics were snapped with my iPhone 4. I brought a 12 MP digicam with me, but I used it elsewhere in Dallas. We hit the 6th Floor Museum over near Dealey Plaza, in what's the former Texas Schoolbook Depository, which is near the Grassy Knoll, etc.
But, I was pretty impressed with my iPhone's little camera, as well.

I had similar seats to your early ones, all the way at the top. That tour and your new seats both look awesome. I'm jelly.

Make sure you upgrade to the iPhone 5. Camera on that will be much sweeter!

I was one of the ticket upgrade winners as well via twitter. Went from section 437 to 308.

nice pics, sounds like you had a great time.
I felt the same way when i got to tour tiger stadium, the locker rooms and get out on the field last year.
