If they drop the permanent games I bet that means Auburn and Alabama are both moving east.

If no other team moves from the East to the West then that would leave LSU as the only team in the west with a BCS championship.

The East would be stacked.

And Kentucky moves west?

East:
Alabama
Auburn
Florida
Georgia
S.Carolina
Tennessee
Vandy

West:
Arkansas
Kentucky
LSU
Miss St
Ole Miss
Texas A&M
???

This is not a competitive balance. I can't see this happening. They better be getting some serious cash to end historical rivalries and traditions. It's a sad day, if true.

Just because teams don't play every single year doesn't mean the rivalry ends.

Settle down, folks. Change is a part of life.

Just make cross divional games count secondary to division games when determining division champion. That way the unfair advantage is minor to division and head to head matchups.

That's what I'm thinking. I doubt the East leadership would go for this. LSU would be the only school in the division with a real program.

They are just gonna put one new team in each division. Most traditional rivals like Bama vs Auburn would still stay the same.

If they want to give a Golden Parachute every year in football then I'm all for it We could lose to Arkansas every year and still trot to the Championship

If I ever see this lineup for an LSU season...:

Appy St.
ULL
@Miss State
ULM
Kentucky
@Vandy
So. Carolina
@Missouri
Texas A&M
La Tech
Ole Miss
@Arkansas

...I'll just fricking QUIT!

I do NOT want to see Alabama taken off the LSU schedule.
