Lots of SMU signs at Gameday...they could be the Vandy of the West.

Don't disgrace Vandy's academics with Smu.

If so I'd take Rice. They are about as competitive as Vandy (translated: outside of baseball, they're not) but academically they're right up there with them (fellow AAU member).

Who has the bigger alumni base in Texas out of Rice, SMU or Baylor?

I'd say Baylor. They've been around a lot longer.

I know what you're discussing, Rice has a very small alumni base. But Rice is very similar to Vandy (private sectarian university with AAU membership and not much in terms of athletics) so the two would be great rivals.

um TCU

And TCU is better on average across the board in sports.

And TCU has better looking females

And TCU has the largest stadium of the 4

And TCU has a better band (we dont wear t-shirts and cargo shorts for a game performance nor do we run around with no organization)

yes a 2 second loss to a heisman potential QB in a rebuilding year (loss of 22 starters from last year) domes a team.

That is some good aggie math there.

Conference expansion has zero to do with a single game outcome.

Conference expansion actually has evrything to do with math. The addition of dollars and potential dollars is all that really matters.

Rice, Baylor, SMU have less to offer in that respect than TCU.
