lowery reportedly said he wasn't in the bar, wasn't drinking, and jut happened upon a fight and decided to be a good samaratin. if he WAS in the bar WAS drinking WAS harassing a woman and had already hit someone in the face earlier it calls into question his version of the events that occurred.

If I remember right Lowery claimed at first he was never in the bar that he came to pickup a friend. Someone correct me if i am wrong.

That is one version of the story. There are other witnesses that claim Lowery threw the first punch in the altercation. Lowery's lawyer stated he was never in the bar, never had drinks, that he was an innocent bystander that was just passing through to pick up a friend. Obviously this video does prove one thing, Lowery has no credibility. Any statements made by him about what happend OUTSIDE the bar is now tainted by that fact.

If as much effort had been spent developing Jefferson as a QB over the past 3+ years as has been expended trying to get him off the hook over the past 3 weeks, I might actually care. I don't want anything bad to happen to any of our players, but when all I see on the lead page a few days in advance of a huge game is a bunch of threads appealing a decision made by our head coach instead of rallying behind the players that aren't being questioned about possible wrong-doing, it just makes me want to puke. We aren't trying to reinstate Dan Marino here, so from a football standpoint, let's get behind Lee and Mett and the rest of their teammates and let the legal system work. If the case was botched, it will be apparent soon enough. Until that runs its course, then enough of Unglesby's hype and let's play ball.

You are wrong. The driver of the truck was supposedly there to pick up a friend. That is the one who was pulled out and the one who suffered the three cracked vertebrae. Nothing to do with Lowery.
