Support Jefferson Thread

We all know the players read this rant. Likely more than any other.
He is going to miss his senior season, which is more than the average person who gets arrested. His punishment does not fit the crime. The average citizen would be arrested, wait for a court date and move on. The most critical year of his life (both academically and athletically will be ruined as well). I'm sure this is the hardest time of his life. Everyone loves to support our players for their prowess on the field, but rarely outside the white lines.
Simply send a shot out to him letting him know the tiger fans hope everything works out for him and to keep his head up, learn from his mistakes, and stay strong.
Please, no ignorance. If you dont want to join in this spirit of this thread, post on one of the other 1,000 topics.

I do hope the best for him. I hate that one bad split second decision is costing him this much.

He's got 49 problems...shoes ain't one of them.

I appreciate his efforts as an LSU player, I appreciate his never being a troublemaker prior to this event, I appreciate him taking up for a girl being harrassed and a fellow teamate being assaulted. He has done nothing wrong in my book, and I fully expect him to be back at some point this season.

I hope the best for him and he uses this as a learning tool. God Bless Him.

I was talking to my folks this morning, and can tell you that there's a lot of love for JJ in the BR community and at LSU. A lot of us are even piping up online.
He'll get past this. Nothing's ruined. If he never takes another snap at LSU, he still has as many options as most kids his age. He can even try out for a couple of teams or make his way into the CFL or Arena League as a way to step up.
If any of JJ's friends or family are reading this, tell him to keep his head up. Joy comes in the morning.

He is a good kid who may have made a bad choice.
I hope he gets through this ok.

Actually shoes are a problem. He doesn't have any.

I hope they throw those charges, fast, so his life doesn't get ruined.

They only needed one pair. I'm sure he got the other 48 pair back when he bonded out.

I think I'm going to wait till all the facts come out and not rely on the second hand rumors and guesses from this forum before I make any decision on his character or his involvement.
His contributions to our team have nothing to do with this.

I hope the best for Jefferson. He's put in a lot of time and effort for LSU. He takes shots like no other QB.
It's not easy to be the man. He's given his best effort, and he should be commended for his effort.

I for one will support him because he has taken a lot of crap from his own fans even before this happened go Jefferson hopefully this will be over with soon so you can rejoin your teammates and hopefully still have a chance of a national championship.

I hope the best for JJ. I've supported him since he became the starter and will continue to do so now.

I hope the best for JJ. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Most of us (who went to college) did some dumb things while out drinking while in school.

Jefferson is the man, and I know he can get through this. I hate that this had to happen and was so excited to see him play and maybe lead us to Atlanta. I hope that he perhaps gets that chance and if he doesn't then I wish him the most of luck with whatever he does going forward. He'll always be a Tiger!
