Ever since he got thrown in the mix as a RS Freshman he has took a ton of undue criticism.

Yes, he earned the name pick 6 Lee by the national media, but we did average a ton of points the year he started at QB as a Freshman, and our Defense Sucked arse that year. Maybe worst defense of the decade.

I'm hoping he leads us to a victory next saturday and never looks back.

He's from Texas, so it's a sort of homecoming for him.

Fact, or we'd have Mettenberger (who wouldn't be a terrible option)

Then Stephen Rivers and Jerrard Randall?

I think he's going to turn it around, starting Saturday. Looked good at several points last year, but Jefferson was definitely preferred. I think he'll do fine with all of the team and the fans backing him.

No looking back now, boys. As long as stays composed and relaxed, JLEE will be the general of this army. Now that the team has closure, LETS WHIP SOME OREGON arse!!!

All reports out of practice said Lee was looking pretty sharp all during the offseason. He also had a pretty impressive spring game.

Just to stir the pot a little, what if Lee would have been the starter anyway, and Miles was just playing it close to the vest so that Oregon couldn't properly gameplan?? Just food for thought, idk the inner workings of the coaching staff at all
