If JJ is suspended by Miles for the season,

He would be off the team. So I would say no. Or is "kicked off the team" and "suspending a Senior for the entire season" not really the same thing?

No offense but if he redshirts and I have to deal with any more JJ talk (be it his play, his attitude, etc) I may go crazy. And it would piss Mett off something awful.

If found guilty I hope he is kicked off the team.. and no senior day... he didnt act like a senior that night did he... captain?

This is irrelevant because any trial would happen long after this season is over. Now if you are talking about him being charged, I'll say what I've said all along, it should depend on the nature of the charge:
Simple battery (misdemeanor): Indefinite suspension (have something set up similar to the Blount situation).
2nd degree battery (felony): Dismissal from the team.

If he was suspended for the season, he'd just basically take a redshirt if he's smart. He's not going to the NFL missing an entire season and never showing he's improved as a QB or even playing another position.

Jefferson will be suspended for the season. A matter of time now. He won't wear the uniform again.

According to EricB, suspending him for the season is equivalent to kicking him off the team since he supposedly can't redshirt, so why not just kick him off the team.

So if he redshirts...and Mett gets reps and experience this season plus ths spring...you think JJ has a shot at beating him out?
If I was him and I was suspended for the year, I would work on my degree and adios. The degree is the most important thing to him now.

First off, it's spelled Krusty, lol.
Oh, I didn't say he'd start, but at least he'd get to play some either in his option position or in the case of injury to Mett. Also, we all know Les has some kind of love for JJ that can't be explained, so who knows.
