Why would people expect the football players to stick around to give their statements then?
Cause that's the right thing to do and that's what I want guys I cheer for to do.
Having said that, at 18+ and a college guy, I would have vacated the parking lot as well with everyone well enough to walk away.

I'm still wondering why everyone left, but Lowery returned an hour later.
Why did he bolt out when police were on the way?
Why did he return to a parking lot of a closed business at 2:40 am

Victoria Long, 19, says she saw Jefferson kick one of the alleged victims during a bar fight Friday.
Posted on 8/25/11 at 3:19 pm to CptBengal
Regardless of the witness connection to Lowery, what would be her motive to implicate Jefferson as the kicker, versus any other person there.

How can anyone say this definitively, without an agenda?
im 28 yrs old and ive been out thousands of times and have never been in a fight even when some jerk tries to start one with me which rarely happens b/c i choose not to be in places where fights regularly happen! anyone can avoid any fight if they really wanted to! that's my point!
JJ chose to go out and act foolishly by putting himself in a bad situation! and even after the kid was down on the ground, JJ decides to give him a quick kick to the face/head for good measure! My Hero! Way to represent JJ!

The report didn't say that. Come on man, read it.
The report says the officer called Long, who told him Lowery was at home sleeping.
The report doesn't say that but the report does say that after 4:45 am Officer Strong called Andrew Lowery. At that time, Lowery reported he was at Our Lady of the Lake. At 6:10 am, Officer Strong called Long. At 6:10 am, Long knew that Lowery was no longer at OLOL but "at home sleeping from the hospital".
Which, I agree, doesn't mean Long was "sleeping at Lowery's crib" but it does mean that she and Lowery were in touch between 4:45 am and 6:10 am. Could have been in touch by phone. Or text. Maybe she was with him at the hospital. Who friggin knows. But either she was lying about his whereabouts or she had been in very recent contact with Lowery between 4:45 am and 6:10 am.

ifJefferson kicked a guy in the face while he was already down that shows lack of leadership and character and he deserves whats coming!...could you see JL doin this or even putting himself in that situation? I know you cant!
You're absolutely correct. The key word here is the first word in your quote, genius.
That's what's not fair to him, at least at this point. There is no proof, anywhere, that shows him kicking a guy in the face, no witnesses that can say with 100% certainty that it's JJ..... why is this so hard for some people to understand?

i can care less what you think is fair to him or not ...if he didnt want to be ridiculed then he shouldnt have put himself in that situation...genius

So it is a disgrace to speak badly about JJ, but not to insult Lowery, the other victims, the police, and the marines? Got it.

And you are a disgusting human being for your previous post.

So who sent you over here from the Alabama board?
It's not fair to him. It's not just my opinion. Read other posts.
Remember "innocent until proven guilty?" And why do you just single him out? I mean, there were 3 other players at the bar. How should they be dealt with? The same bs way you are suggesting without any proof whatsoever?
It doesn't matter what you think should happen to him.

keep telling yourself everything will be ok and go give your jordan jefferson undies a good scrubin...i didnt see the cops go into anybody elses apt. and pull out a dozen pairs of shoes...multiple witnesses said they saw JJ kick the kid in the face...this is a discussion board not some trial in a court house....if i want to say JJ looks guilty to me then it's my privilege to do so!
Posted on 8/25/11 at 4:05 pm to mattchewbocca
Good God.... I'm not saying everything will be ok, I'm not saying it won't..... You're clearly missing my point.
Right to due process for JJ. I'm just using his name because you're already to convict the kid for, at this point in time, nothing. Just word of mouth from half bombed bar witnesses. Some of which were brought there without even being there in the first place.
Nobody has proven he did anything YET! End of discussion.
You need to up your knowledge on your own civil rights.
Sure, that is your privilege to do so, doesn't make it so, but you can certainly stay in the dark and believe what you want.

give it up already little birdman! JJ is guilty and that's all there is to it!
Posted on 8/25/11 at 4:35 pm to mattchewbocca
Little birdman?
No one ever said he was completely innocent. Ever.
He shouldn't be publicly lynched because he was in a fight, especially when no one has all the facts yet. Put your torch and pitchfork down.
What part of End of discussion did you not understand? You're just trolling at this point.

This whole incident will make the next JJ sack a little less painful. If he ever plays again.

How about the students you teach, or the kids you coach?
