What if its A&M, OU, OSU, and Mizzou

West:
aTm
OU
OSU
Mizzou
LSU
Arky
MSU
UM
East:
Bama
AU
UT
UGA
Vandy
USCe
UF
UK
PROS:
With the addition of these 4 schools the SEC would add Houston, Dallas, OKC/Tulsa, StL, and KC as new media markets. Thats a lot of eyeballs and TV sets.
In fact, I believe the only conference that could work out a bigger tv deal at that point would be the big ten, and then only with the addition of both UT and ND.
aTm and OU have great tradition and SEC-like fan bases already. OSU has very deep pockets, Mizzou well, is Mizzou. But most expansion plans seem to call for Mizzou so it is what it is.
These 4 teams dont piss anyone off, unlike other options ie FSU (UF) or Clemson (USCe).
The SEC gets sued by the (at this point now defunct) Big XII only instead of a still alive Big XII AND the ACC.
This option also avoids the unlikely breaking up of sister schools (OU/OSU, UNC/Duke, UVA/VT)
CONS:
Moves AU and Bama to the east, but since the divisional format is young anyways, i dont see how this is that big of a deal.

LSU/OU would decide the west every year just like OU/Texas decides the Big 12 south every year.

So how would your plan work? 7 conference games? You would either not play everyone in your division every year or east would never meet west.
I'm not knocking it, it's interesting, I just wonder how it would work.

8 conference games.
Each division plays every team in their division and one rotating game against the other division.
its the only way to make a 16 team conference work, and i am assuming thats where nccafb is headed.

OU "just can't quit" Texas, ala Brokeback Mountain. Embarrassing, really.

9 conference game. Two rotating vs the other division. If Bama and Auburn both move to the East, it eliminates the need for permanent cross-divisional opponents.

I like the new avatar, but can you at least put the old one as your sig pic? It was a damn good looking slab of meat.

youre right actually, they were headed to the Pac 12 with Texas before the conference bailout/longhorn network actually came to fruition.

Its an LSU board. Texas is not a rival to LSU. And I've been around for a couple years I know who the posters are.
You are obsessed with Ags. You can't admit to yourself that A&M doesn't care about your school as you think. It was a nice fun rivalry your school and admins have ruined.
It's comical. So many horn fans that follow Ags all over the Internet and claim we are obsessed with y'all.
