I'm tired of people glorifying said Marine. Look, they are brave for what they do overseas. I get it...but that doesn't make that person better than all other Americans. Firemen, cops, teachers, etc have thankless jobs too that influence alot of what goes on in this country...but don't get treated to the heroes welcome so=to-speak.
If someone is a piece of shite, they are a piece of shite...marine or not.
Maybe the Marine said shite too, since people of that nature don't tend to back down.
Stuff like this goes two ways...not just one.

I could give two shits about student athlete GPA, but I'm around enough things to know that shits been out of control all summer and im pretty sick of people who know absolutely NOTHING about what is going on with this program or its athletes swear by their innocence because they can't stand the idea of losing a football game.
Not sure where you're trying to go with the English major remark... the people who are ignorant enough to pump sunshine on this should be the ones criticized for the lack of critical thinking ability.

probably right. just saying, nothing in this thread should be taken as fact. there really have been very few "facts" posted. just a lot of people hoping for the worst and others waiting on the truth before judging.

I really don't know. StrongSafety has me a bit worried... if he's full of BS, I pity him for getting his rocks off by visiting a serious topic like this and implying things that he can't substantiate.
What I do know... and I'm sure everyone reading this thread is just dying to know... is: I am not looking forward to the negative hit that both the LSU university and the LSU football programs will take over all of this. Regardless of which story comes out true; this is the beginning of some really bad story-lines coming out of Baton Rouge.
Also, Bennett, one other thing I have noticed: you don't have the first damn clue between the difference of the word "than" and the word "then". That fact alone has really made it difficult for me to follow your story.
edit: to make sure people didn't think I was calling LSU players Pro Football Players.
