What about 1990-2000? 13 straight matchups when both teams were ranked in the top 10. 1994-1997 had some pretty epic games.

This cannot be true. In 11 years FLA and FSU faced each other 13 times - 2 of which had to be bowl games. and EACH time they were both in the top 10.

No question this.
During their heyday, they were all epic games. I also didn't have much to cheer about with LSU and these games became my LSU/Auburn or LSU/UF game for the year.

CHOAK AT THE DOAK!!!!

FSU/Miami for me personally.

I know Miami wasn't involved in the CATD, just a great game.

FSU/Miami decided the National Championship picture like USC/ND under McKay and Ara.

Plus it had epic games.

Is there really any question? I miss these games actually mattering. CFB is better when FSU, Miami and ND are all in the top 15.

How about the 1996 Sugar Bowl for national championship?

wouldnt that be the single biggest game between the 2 rivals? and it isnt even close. Miami/FSU "helped determine" the champion...while '96 UF-FSU straight up was FOR THE NATIONAL TITLE.

The "5th Quarter in the French Quarter" was a pretty solid game as well...Sugar Bowl in Jan of '95 I believe that took place after the choke at Doak?

FSU and Miami's bowl game was an ugly Orange Bowl...

FSU Miami.

Fans would buy season tickets from the other school just to go to that game. T shirts. nicknames for games. the 31-0 carnage when FSU was #1. They were both trying to be number 1 at the same time.
