The SEC is the creme-dela-creme of college conferences. A private club. Privileged.

How much should A&M pay to join?

Don't know how it is in Houston, but every week Last year I was able to watch multiple SEC games every week, all LSU games that counted and really, wondered why? I mean, is the Big12-2 so screwed up that the television and cable companies show SEC over B12 already? TV market? We already have it.

There is a difference between just being in a market and being a major player in it and actually getting big bucks for it.

As others have said just being on in a market is different than actually having people tuned in to the station to watch the game.

Often the 2:30 CBS game would go up against a good matchup in the big 12 on fox sports. Aggie fans if watching one would more than likely watch the big 12 game as it had implications on their season. Now those sets will be looking at the SEC games (if they do join).
