I'm not sure how many times it's been posted on here, being as though I don't frequent the Rant too much.
Who do you consider to be our(LSU) biggest rival? Post your age as well.

In the past, I would have said Tulane/OM. At this point, I'd say AU since the mid 90s. We've had some great games with them, and the stretch of games won by the home team was over a decade, IIRC.
Earthquake Game, Barn Burner, crazy calls, Flynn to Byrdman, lots of great games.

I'm 26..
I'd have to say
1A) auburn- had some really big and really close games against them.
1B) bama- move up into this spot only bc of saban factor
2) Florida- had some great games with them. Just the hatred isn't there like the rest of the sec west teams.
3A) ole miss
3B) Arkansas
4) Texas A M- look for them to jump up the ladder quick if they become part of our schedule every year again.

Old
Ole Miss and Bama
Coach TT helped make Auburn a modern one, imo..

as of this moment, it is definitely Bama. once Saban leaves, that is no longer the case.
pretty sad that is our biggest rival considering we are probably #3 or #4 on Bama's list.

Here's the problem with lsu and the reason we don't have one big rival. Of the teams listed who would put lsu as it's top rival.
Auburn- no (bama)
Bama- no (auburn)
Ole miss- no (most would say the egg bowl)
Florida- no (more would probably say Tennessee or FSU)
Tulane was it and would still be if they didn't totally suck now. If aTm gets into the sec and doesn't play Texas every season we could be each others mutual biggest rival.

I dont know that bama would list us as low as 4. Who else before us besides auburn?
Posted on 8/14/11 at 2:51 pm to Cecil D Diesel
Since Saban came back, it's Bama, nobody else comes close.

Shouldn't the real answer be Arkansas and the battle of the golden boot since they joined the SEC.

Think Arky wants us to their primary rival.
