SEC presidents voted 11-0 in favor of adding A&M. One school abstained.

If that's the case A&M will accept Wedbesday most likely after approving on Mobday, courteously letting Tx Lege know Tuesday

I'm guessing that we will go with 13 for 2012. I also think that FSU is the 14th target, but that will take some time to work out both internally and externally. Internally, is the need to get schools thinking rationally about this and not emotionally as it appears.

Externally if FSU is the best choice (say NC, VT turn us down), they will be committed to the ACC thru 2012 unless they notify the member ACC schools by tomorrow. If they are the choice and they're not in the bag yet, there simply isn't time to get this done and 13 will be the number.

this is my guess also. great minds think alike. it would not surprise me though if slive has already got #14 on the hook. i would be very surprised if we went to 16 and hope we don't. i would very much like FSU. now that bowden is gone it is possible. that old bastard hated the sec because we wouldn't let him run the league so he went and ran the acc. he actually wanted MORE THAN HIS SHARE of the revenues (and the acc gave it to him). MORE THAN bama, lsu, auburn, florida, uga, ut, etc. a-hole. fsu should have shitcanned him after he quit winning. damn near ran their program. just because he built their program doesn't give him the right to tear it down again.
