Said Belichick did it again, stole a bonafide starting tailback in the 3rd round. Guaranteed a 1,000 yard season this year.

Skip Bayless is a tard.

If BJGE get hurts though, Ridley will most definitely get 1000. The Pats have just shuffled RBs around so much, I don't see them leaning on one guy this year.

Unless they've done all that shuffling cause they aren't confident enough in one player.

I think Ridley scores around 10 touchdowns this year, but I don't think he sniffs 1,000 yards rushing. The Pats will use 4 backs MINIMUM this year in BJGE, Ridley, Faulk, and Woodhead.

Skip Bayless is an imbecile. I rather wait for an opinion from someone credible. Not to mention the Pats won't run enough for him to get the yardage and he has to share with two other guys.

Remember when Steve Spurrier and Danny Wuerffel put up about 40 points in their first pre-season game?

Settle down people, it's PRE-SEASON, and the very first one on top of that, which means that the real players played for about 1 or 2 series.

I would love to see Ridley get 1,000 yards this season as a rookie however, its highly unlikely.

In Tom Brady's 11 year career, the Patriots have only had 3 1,000 yard RBs (Dillon, Antowain Smith, BJGE)

And since they rarely do it, it would be hard to see Belicheck benching on of those three players for a rookie. BJGE is the main RB unless of injury and I don't care what anyone says or if Bill drafted a couple of RBs this year. BJGE is the man in Pat town.

We all know it is preseason, but I would rather see Ridley score 3 tds, than do shitty or not even get a carry. It is safe to say he exceeded everyone's expectations with his 1st NFL playing time. And that is worth starting a thread on TD.

Do you have the rest of those pictures from the LSU beatdown of Miami? I've been looking for them for years.

It's true. I will say though that I think Ridely is a good NFL fit. He's a one cut back who can hit the hole.

I hope he does but I don't see it. I hope all LSU players go on to great NFL careers.

that means he'd have to get between 250-270 carries.

he'll be most valuable this year in short yards and catching passes

Im not. Do you think he'll get 1000 yards?

really it seems that way because i once said i didnt think he was our best RB last year. He has some fanboys that blew up at that notion and there has been no looking back since. Seems worse than it is. I dont hate him. I am just a realist.
