So Tide fans can expect a Peach Bowl appearance?

We got screwed in '05. One loss in the regular season and we get the Chick fil-a Bowl???

That would mean Bama would have won 3 of the last 4 West Titles and 2 of the last 4 SEC Titles. That would not sit well with some LSU fans if we were shut out of 4 straight SEC West Division Titles.

agreed!

Have you seen the Rivals.com 2011 player ratings? They are counting down to the #1 overall player in college football for 2011 and so far (they are at #10 today) there are about 32 Alabama players in the list and ZERO LSU players! ZERO!

No way bro...if Oklahoma goes undefeated they make it to the Title game fo sho!

Oklahoma has a brutal schedule. They play @Florida State, Mizzou, Texas, Texas A&M, and @Oklahoma State. They deserve a shot at the title if they go undefeated.

If it's any consolation, they were last year's favorite too.
That was a bit more logical pick than this year with 1st year QB, imo.
I think the media is still in love with the 2009 team.

Did McElroy, Jones, and Ingram suddenly get their eligability restored?

I don't get the "Bama Love". It is VERY HARD to live up to all those lofty predictions when you have LITTLE OR NO EXPERIENCE AT THE QB POSITION.

Anyone remember us in 2008?

Oh, wait. Nick Saban is their head coach.

Given the fact that we play our toughest games away from home I can see us losing 2 or 3 games this year. I hate to say this but the schedule is as tough as I have ever scene. I hope I am wrong.

Rivals predicts LSU v. Boise St. in Sugar Bowl

Pretty ballsy to predict a Boise State win over GA without Titus Young and many others. UGA will bounce back this year or the next, historically, it would be a bad idea to favor boise in this one.

With a QB like Kellen Moore it would be hard to pick against Boise St. That being said I will root like crazy for Georgia.

Pretty compelling reasons

They loss a HT RB, a BCSNC and 2 yr starting QB, a ALL-SEC/AA WR, a 1st rd DL and a 1st rd OL off a team that finished last season 4th in the west.

Those too are pretty compelling reasons to ask why Bama would be picked to play in a NCG this season. imo

True, but Bama won the BCS Championship the last time they had a new starter at QB.

Not with AJ MCCarron at QB. I saw him for years in high School. Rifle arm but I would take the Todd Coker kid tht went to Florida State we had last year over him in a new york minute.

If you had to pick you'd choose Bama since they play LSU at home. I know people will not believe this but I think having a brand new qb in the game gives LSU an advantage with JJ/JL
