I've heard similar, but what would they be waiting for? The longer they wait, the fewer opportunities, as scholarships get filled.
They've got to have someplace to land first.
One of the three is attempting to avoid flunking out of school - unsuccessfully, is what I hear.

since the hickey and o'bryant stuff settled i've heard as many as 3 but i think it's 2 tops.

Isaac is the one struggling in school.
I could see him leaving. He might be better served heading to a junior college for a year. He would flourish in the free wheeling JUCO ranks.
If he and Turner are gone, then it would make sense for LSU to keep Swilling on the hook. Stringer would be the third potential transfer. I don't see that happening, but who knows.

You have a better chance finding a place to land if people know you are looking.

Gibby Talbot has commits to La Tech last saturday and will sign Tuesday night. This will be the one that got away guys. A local state kid that can bang in the paint.

Welcome to LSU Calvin...Congrats and we all wish you the best of luck here, Bring it hard dear brother!
Furthermore, No one over 6 ft 8 yet and we are LSU? What the Fu@k?? We are going to get killed out there, Can we not get anyone over 6 ft 8 with -at least- 3 stars for crying outloud? This is LSU, not USL lol, We should be able to recruit and SIGN a decent post player ffs! Let's Geaux Johnny Jones and please concentrate on getting us some taller post help for fu@ks sake!
I keep hearing from you all that Odoh may still be in the mix, but that might be a stretch to get him, doesn't UNT have to grant his release from his LIT, and what makes you all think he is a legitimate SEC post player? Did any other SEC schools offer him?

6-8 is plenty tall in the SEC.

College hoops is not littered with 7-footers, especially ones that can make a difference (See Del Piero). Heck, did LSU play against any last year in the SEC? If you have a 6'8" to 6'9" post player that can play then that's a nice start. It appears LSU now has two. Assuming the rest of the roster (transfers?) remains intact I am ready to roll with this roster.

damn, he almost got away from everyone in the country.

I think he could turn out to be a good player, but he will likely redshirt at La. Tech and still be a year or two away from producing. LSU needs help now and can't risk signing projects at the present time.

We all would like a little more size in the post, but it won't be the end of the world if we don't get it. In 1999 Duke had one of the best teams in the history of COllege Basketball and their PF and C MIGHT have been 6'8 (Shane Battier and Elton Brand)

Our Final Four team was short, too. CJ didn't play much that year, so we had Lazarre, Davis , and Thomas playing a lot in the post. Those guys were all listed less than 6'8", and I know Davis was listed way taller than his real height which probably closer to 6'6". Taz and Temple helped by being big at the 2 and 3 I'd imagine, and I think that's where we'll be this year w/ all the 6'4" to 6'6" guys. The main reason I want a taller guy, or at least a bigger guy is b/c I know JOBIII doesn't want to play 5. Obviously he'll have to at times regardless, but it would be nice to keep him playing the 4.

man I'm excited to see Hammink, Morgan, and Coleman. Hopefully they push Turner to reach his potential

If Turner is still here. Strong rumors that he's looking to leave.
