Am I missing something. This is the second thread where people saying this grass hasn't been used in TS. We had the same type of turf installed (celebration whatever) last year after country super fest and the field looked awesome all year. One of the stipulations of the super fest being held in TS is the re sodding of the field after.

That freaking looks like berber carpet! Awesome
If it's better than the grass from last year, I bet it's awesome to play football/march on. You can feel everything through marching shoes, so this grass probably feels so nice. :D

looks great, but looks can be superficial. Let's get down to the true substance of the matter. HOW DOES IT TASTE?

If it is the same strain of Bermuda as the Bucs have then it should play well. The field at Ray Jay is consistently rated in the top 3 playing surfaces in the NFL by the players. However, last year it took a pounding with USF's home schedule and the Buc's home schedule presenting little "recoup" time. By the Outback Bowl it looked worn.

well with only 6 homes games and only 2 of them back to back weekends, it should hold up great!!

Is it just me or is there a complete lack of a crown in the field? I seem to remember some ArKansas meth heads bitching that our unusually high crown screwed with meth head Mallett's throwing ability a couple of years ago.
Does this mean they have gone to an underground drainage system?
