Michigan, MSU, and Purdue will keep playing ND. No way they give that up.

The B1G will cash in with this. More B1G games (as opposed to Big East and ACC games) will mean more money.

Prediction: SEC eventually follows suit, and then the big dawgs push for a 14-game sked saying that the two extra games would help fund the non-rev sports a little more.

I think it's good for college football, provided teams will continue to play at least one OOC BCS team. My fear is 9 game schedules will deter future great regular season OOC matchups.

but keep in mind, a team that wins the BigTen will now face 9 conference teams, at least one decent OOC team(like a notre dame) and then the Championship game.... if someone can make it through that schedule undefeated it would be impressive.

I agree with this. And this would definitely make sense if the SEC does expand to 14 teams. But I certainly wouldn't be opposed to a 14 game season.

I don't see that happing.

The SEC doesn't need the SOS boost. Too many big nonSEC rivalary games, Clemson, GA Tech, A&M, Fla. State. Plus the $$$ for the extra home game is greater than any other conference.
