Can't see this ending well unfortunately.

Thankfully, City is loaded with strikers.

Mancini on Swag Remaining at Eastlands

Quote from Mancini:

"We did receive various offers for him from Italian clubs over the summer, but we don't sell anybody here."

As for Tevez, City hold all the cards. Tevez is likely aware of the fact that City can afford to pay him to sit the bench, so I would expect Tevez to cave in the coming day (but if not, oh well, goals have not been in short supply thus far).

I don't see Tevez apologizing... Plus with Ballotelli stepping up, I'd like to see who we could get for Tevez. No place for shitty attitudes on a league leading team.

James Milner:

He seems to be playing much better this year. I'd venture that one of his passes has been key to a goal already this year twice as many times as all last season combined. He seems as much a reason as any of the stars that City is off to such a lofty start.

He's just not a winger. He's played exceptionally well in the middle.

I disagree. I think he's a wide midfielder who can create a numbers advantage moving from central positions to wide positions. Think the first goal in the Man U game. Milner supported Silva creating a 2 v 1 situation in that ten yard area of the field. In that sense, I see him as a player who specializes moving laterally, supporting players who need to be supported. At the same time, he's had a lot of success as a wide player in this league. I think employing him in a position where he can support Silva when he cuts in from the right is where he is most effective.

Swag will stay. He has to. Even if he slips in form, I don't give a crap. His stories are too awesome.

Milner's been excellent in counter attacks. Seems he's always making a clever pass or run.
