Is this going to be the pro combat helmet?

Got this in an e-mail. I'm not sure if it's just a photoshopped thing or if this is what lsu will be wearing vs auburn. If it is, I like it better than the one we wore two years ago. I just don't know how they will piece together the rest of the uniform. I hope we don't go all black. Black and purple don't look good together. Black and gold just isn't LSU. Not sure how'd they make that work.

It's just a one game uniform.. whatever it looks like is gonna be

This is what I always think about with LSU in all black. Royal to purple isn't that big of a difference.

I'd rather them not change anything about the helmet but the color. I like LSU's unis as is. I'm not a big fan of change, or all black. Save that shite for uga and Tennessee.

It won't be for this year but in the future, maybe. It was just a concept. People have been talking about black for years. I made it a reality. Some like, some hate. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and i respect that. The helmet is flat black, pictures don't do it justice. More concepts to come.

Looks legit - Nike along with LSU decides that a wrinkled white bed sheet would make a perfect backdrop to its Nike's Pro Combat campaign.

Gold helmets fine two years ago but I would like to see more color in the uniforms than the mostly white they wore.
