This is why people hate the soccer board:

I've asked twice now for a summary of the match. I didn't get to watch it. I plan on DVRing the replay tonight but I'd like a quick synopsis of what happened.

Update, I still don't like soccer, but I like women and I like the USA. So, I'll watch, root and be drug into the drama. It just so happens its over your stupid sport.
Soccer fans need to embrace the casual fans watching their game, not criticize them.

Exactly. All I knew by ESPN's recap is they went to PK's...knew nothing of them going down a man or anything else. Just wanted a 3 line summary.

Hell, I like watching a sport where they stop every 6 seconds and only have about 10 minutes of live game play over a 4 hour broadcast.
