NOLA Lunch and Dinner w/6 week old

My son has to see a specialist in New Orleans and the wife and I would like to grab lunch and dinner while we are in town.
What places won't frown upon us bringing him with us? He is a heavy sleeper and we will time it so he will be asleep while we are there.
I'm a new dad so I don't know the etiquette when it comes to this stuff. Thanks for any suggestions.

What area of town do you want to be in and what kind of food do you like?

Sounds like Uptown at Children's Hospital.
OP what is your budget per meal?

That age and if you can insure he'll stay asleep, there's almost no place you can't bring him. What are you looking for?

Except for places that could be loud and wake up the litlle rascal.

no budget and we will eat anything except asian and indian. We loved La Boca and liked the Besh restaurants we've tried. We are staying at the Windsor Court.

Tartine is a five minute drive. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Dinner at Brightsens. Perhaps also look at Boucharie for lunch.

May be too far from hotel....
I'm all for trying Boucharie.
How long has Tartine's been open?

About a year, but it is really, really good. There is no place to compare it to in NOLA.
