Picked up this game yesterday and played a few minutes of it. So far it has been fun, and is very visually pleasing with the comic book art style. What is the gaming board's opinion of this game? Does it get old, I could definitely see it getting repetitive.

I loved this game. I really don't remember it getting old, especially if you just stick to story line.

If you start doing all the side quests, like any game, it may become repetitive.

Loved it. The visuals were unique, the gun stats made looting more enjoyable, and the dlc makes it last longer. Although, even without the dlc, this game takes awhile to beat and you can always make a different character and build it a different way if you get bored.

Loved it, but be prepared to be really underwhelmed by the end of the main story line. DLC looked good but never finished any of it.

I never tried it personally, but from everything I've heard, this game is exponentially better playing with people as opposed to going solo. I played in a party of 3 at the most. Wouldn't mind getting it again, personally. You can kill a lot of time running around Pandora.

With the way NPC interaction is designed as well as the loose story structure, it's just extremely desolate if you play by yourself. At least the Fallout games have outposts full of people.

I am still playing it solo and enjoy it.
quick tip. if it gets difficult find a spot way back and snipe.. lots of little glitches where you can pick baddies off and not get messed with.

Sniping is the only thing that irritates me. I'm using a 98.1 percent accuracy sniper rifle, and it still can't hit shite.

It's best to play as Mordecai if you want to snipe. He has skill categories that will RPGify your long-ranged weapons and help you hit things.

Yup.

Great game with a sad excuse for an ending.

Yes, I have a problem putting a scope on a non-moving, non-player character in a game that I play offline. It has to be me

I will admit that sniping in this game isn't up to typically FPS quality.

Yeah, thats what I thought, but I just play as the soldier and stay with midrange battles. I'll play a walkthrough with him after I finish my other games.

Forgot about that. I played as brick and my friend would play Mordecai. Carried a sniper rifle with me, but he was usually a lot better with his shots.

Brick's beserker attack was just brilliant and great comic relief. I'm pretty sure he would slobber on himself.

Obviously I'm just fricking with you, but I honestly don't remember having a problem like that with sniping. Been a while since I have played though

I just felt like playing the role of OMGOSH

How the game is built, it's really hard to snipe from long distances if you aren't the sniper class.
