McKnight was the same class as Ridley...I don't think that really affected us. Ridley did for us basically what McKnight did for USC.

But at the time he was a not just "a" can't miss prospect he was basically "the" consummate can't miss prospect regardless of how he turned out.

Eli was a SR in 2003, LSU won the BCS Title in 2003 so losing him didn't really affect us that much either.
