Just being a smartass.

He could do what I did, join the Military, at least in a reserve capacity. Go Guard, and get tuition exemption.

This, or do guard/reserves. Pay tuition and give you a stipend of anywhere from 850 to 2k a month.

I was deployed for over a year. I get up to 5 grand a year paid in tuition and fees, had a 3,500 dollar student loan taken off my hands, and get 1400 a month during school. With that beig said, the Army is incredibly inefficient and I hate it, I have 2 years and 6 months to go. I did my time and will use it to get a teaching degree and pay to be an RN. Would do it again in a heartbeat but there is no way I'd re up.

Take out student loans--just make sure you major in something worthwhile. Engineering or accounting/finance should have a positive ROI if you do well.

What are you planning on majoring in at the undergraduate level? You need a Masters to be a Physical Therapist.

I am not sure the length of those Masters programs but I think 3 years. You are looking at ~7 years minimum.

Why would you spend 50 grand a year to be a PT?

ETA: not trying to be a dick, it just does not make sense(financially) to spend upwards of 300k on a job that's yearly earning ceiling is only about 100k.

Yeah i know that... and my undergraduate will be exercise science. then doing my 3 years like u said. i know its gonna be hard but i think it will be worth it in a long run

You better not be taking out many loas for that undergraduate major. Exercise science is a crap undergraduate major that leaves physical therapy as your only option (other than being a PE teacher).

I would much rather meet PT schools entry requirements and major in something more useful/has more flexible applications.
